
400Hz airport cable 7 core with control wires & reinforcement is a multi-core composite cable designed for high-frequency 400Hz power systems. It has a rigorous structure and outstanding performance. The conductor is made of Class 5 or Class 6 soft bare copper stranded wire, which has excellent flexibility and conductivity. The main insulation layer is made of EPR (ethylene propylene rubber) material, which is heat-resistant and pressure-resistant with stable performance; the control core wire is made of 1mm² bare copper conductor, with EFTE (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene) high-performance insulation layer, which is corrosion-resistant and resistant to high-frequency interference. The cable consists of 6 power core wires arranged in bundles around the central core wire, and the control core wires are filled in the outer layer gaps in the form of three-wire/four-wire groups, and each core wire is reinforced. The outer sheath is made of orange PUR (polyurethane) material and integrated with an open mesh braided layer to enhance the overall mechanical strength and torsion resistance.
Application
400Hz 7 core airport cables are widely used in aircraft power docking points, radar stations, airport UPS systems and other high-precision 400Hz frequency power supply locations. The cable has a rated voltage of 0.6/1kV and is suitable for fixed laying environments from -20°C to +70°C, in accordance with VDE 0295 and IEC 60228 standards. The cable structure design can effectively reduce frequency interference and ensure efficient operation of the equipment. The matching control core wire can realize remote monitoring or command transmission, improving the controllability and safety of the overall system. The cable has excellent oil resistance, wear resistance, UV resistance and hydrolysis resistance, and is suitable for underground laying, underwater laying, outdoor exposure, indoor wiring and cable trays and other complex environments. Its integrated mesh braided layer not only enhances the cable's tensile and compressive properties, but also improves its durability in frequently moving or high-vibration locations. It is particularly suitable for airport ground power supply systems, military aviation equipment, mobile aviation power supply vehicles and other application scenarios that have extremely high requirements for cable flexibility and mechanical strength.
