Copper Neutral Screen Cable Single Core As/NZS 4961

Copper neutral screen cable single core (AS/NZS 4961) adopts a single-core structure. The conductor follows the annealed bare copper wire of AS/NZS 1125 standard and the Class 2 stranded structure. It has good conductivity and mechanical strength and is suitable for long-term stable power supply needs. The cable insulation and sheath are made of PVC V-90 material, which has excellent electrical insulation performance and meets environmental protection requirements. The temperature resistance level reaches 75°C and can operate safely in various environments.

Application

Copper neutral screen cable single core AS/NZS 4961 is widely used in industrial, commercial, and residential fields, and is an indispensable and important cable type in the main power supply system. This cable is particularly suitable for power transmission scenarios between the main power supply point and various equipment or buildings, such as from the distribution board to the main control cabinet, between floors or between different buildings, and from the cable cabinet to the motor and other key locations.

FAQ

Q: What is the difference between screen cable and normal cable?

A: The main difference between screen cables and ordinary cables is whether they have a shielding layer. screen cables are used when EMI protection or signal integrity protection is required, while ordinary cables can be used for basic power or low-noise applications that do not require shielding.

Q: What is the difference between a screened cable and a shielded cable?

A: In most contexts, "screened cable" and "shielded cable" refer to the same concept - a cable that includes a layer of conductive material (usually foil, braid, or wire mesh) designed to block electromagnetic interference (EMI) and protect signal integrity.
You should focus on the type of shielding (foil, braid, combo), coverage percentage, and intended EMI protection, rather than just the term used.
