Application
PVC 3 & 4 core flat cables (AWG) adopt a flat structure design, with the significant advantages of high flexibility and neat wiring, especially suitable for vertical laying environment in deep well submersible pump systems. Compared with traditional round cables, its cross-section is thinner, which effectively saves wiring space in well pipes or narrow pipes, and the installation process is simpler and faster. At the same time, the flat structure can prevent the cable from getting entangled and kinked when going down the well, improving the overall operation safety. The parallel arrangement between the core wires helps to evenly distribute the current, reduce electromagnetic interference, and enhance the heat dissipation performance, ensuring the stable power supply performance of the submersible pump under high load and long-term underwater operation. This cable is widely used in electrical systems that require long-term underwater operation, such as agricultural irrigation, industrial pumping, urban and rural water supply, and geothermal pumps.

PVC 3 & 4 core flat cables (AWG) submersible pump wire are designed for deep well submersible pump motor power supply and are suitable for continuous operation at a maximum depth of 500 meters. The cable uses finely stranded bare copper conductors with extremely high flexibility and conductivity. Each conductor is individually covered with a high-quality polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation layer and a durable PVC sheath on the outside to ensure that it can maintain excellent electrical performance and mechanical strength under harsh conditions of moisture, high pressure and long-term immersion in water.

FAQ
Q: Do I need a control box for a 2-wire submersible pump?
A: For a 2-wire submersible pump, you typically do not need a separate control box. 2-Wire Pump contains two power wires (plus a ground wire). All starting components, such as the start capacitor and relay, are built into the motor itself. No external control box is needed.
Q: Can a submersible pump be wired backwards?
A: Yes, and it's OK to wire it incorrectly.
With single-phase pumps (most two- and three-wire pumps), the polarity of the AC power doesn't matter - the pump will run the same way. But if the wires are reversed (e.g., mixing up the start/run/common wires in a three-wire pump), it can damage the motor or prevent the motor from starting.
With three-phase pumps (usually industrial grade or higher horsepower), it's OK to wire them incorrectly, but the pump motor will run in reverse. This can cause reduced water flow, overheating, and possible damage to the pump and system.
