750 kcmil aluminum RHH cable is a very large feeder conductor used where main switchgear and central distribution systems carry demanding facility loads. At this size, the weight advantage of aluminum can materially improve reel transport and pulling logistics, especially on long routes or parallel feeder runs. GERITEL WIRE supplies 750 MCM aluminum RHH wire with stranded construction and thermoset insulation for protected 90°C dry-location service. 750 kcmil aluminum RHH wire for switchgear can be ordered with project-specific voltage marking, reel numbering and planned cut lengths. Engineering teams should verify conduit fill, pulling tension, aluminum-rated lug capacity and conductor bending space before finalizing the cable schedule.

APPLICATIONS

Type USE-2, RHH or RHW-2 cables with Aluminum Alloy 8000 Series conductors are suitable for use in conduit and raceways installed underground in wet locations, and where condensation and moisture accumulations within the conduit do not exceed 90°C. Permitted for Type USE-2 per UL-854 for applications requiring direct burial. For applications requiring Type RHH or RHW-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations. Type USE-2 is permitted for 600 volt applications. Type RHH/RHW-2 is permitted for applications up to 1000 volts.

FEATURES

10 AWG and larger rated for Sunlight Resistance. Cables comply with UL's FT-2 (horizontal wire flame). On 250 KCMIL and larger, sequential foot markings located every foot for easy measuring. For 1 AWG through 4/0 AWG, sequential foot markings on master reels only unless otherwise specified. 1/0 AWG and larger are rated for cable tray use and comply with UL-1685-Method 1 (70,000 Btu/hr) flame test. Excellent ruggedized and mechanical protection.
