BX open wiring cable is designed for open dry-location wiring, cable troughs and approved cableway systems. The cable combines three insulated copper circuit conductors with RW90 XLPE insulation, a bare copper bonding conductor, paper wrap and flexible interlocked aluminium armour in a 600V building-wire construction. The armour provides useful mechanical protection while maintaining practical routing flexibility through walls, ceilings and service spaces. For use in ventilated, non-ventilated and ladder-type cable trays.

For dry locations, in ceiling air-handling plenums, exposed or concealed wiring and service entrance above ground.
