ACWU90 is an armored distribution cable with a rated voltage of 600V. It adopts compressed or compacted bare aluminum ACM conductor (Class B stranding). The main insulation material is RW90 grade cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), which has excellent thermal stability, breakdown voltage and long-term electrical insulation performance. The rated operating temperature is up to 90°C (dry environment).
The grounding conductor adopts a bare aluminum stranding structure and is arranged in parallel with the main core, which effectively improves the overall grounding capacity of the system. The outer layer of the cable adopts an aluminum interlocking armor (AIA) structure, which provides high-strength impact protection for the cable. It also has lightweight and corrosion-resistant properties, suitable for direct laying applications without conduits. The outermost layer is a black flame-retardant polyvinyl chloride (FR PVC) sheath, which is not only UV-resistant, moisture-resistant, and chemical-resistant, but also meets the CSA FT4 flame-retardant test requirements. It can be used in high-density installation scenarios such as public spaces, trunk walkways and cable trays.
Application
ACWU90 cable is suitable for electrical systems with high requirements for protection and flame retardancy. It adopts cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulation and aluminum interlaced armor (AIA) structure, which can provide reliable power transmission and physical protection in harsh environments. This cable is suitable for the following typical applications:
- Fixed wiring system: used for power distribution and trunk lines, including lighting, power, and control circuits
- Direct underground installation: meets the underground use standards and does not require additional conduit protection
- Exposed installation environment: suitable for humid, dusty, corrosive, or high mechanical stress areas, such as workshops, mechanical equipment areas, basements, and underground passages
- Indoor and outdoor open or concealed: The flame-retardant PVC outer sheath is UV-resistant and moisture-resistant, suitable for the perimeter of the building, the roof or the cable tray system
- Factory automation and power distribution equipment: used for connections between motors, control cabinets, transformers and switchgear
