300mm2 Cable for Maximum DC Capacity

The GERITEL WIRE 300mm2 battery cable is a high current DC cable for major BESS feeders, industrial UPS banks, busbar links and power-conversion equipment. Fine Class 5 copper improves installation flexibility for an extra-large cable, while PVC insulation supports polarity identification and project marking. GERITEL WIRE can supply heavy drums or engineered assemblies with approved copper lugs, heat shrink and labels. The system must be checked for current, voltage drop, protection coordination, mechanical support, bend radius, termination tooling and equipment clearances. GERITEL WIRE can coordinate conductor resistance, drum length, lug design and assembly dimensions from an approved drawing.

Application

GERITEL WIRE H05V-K & H07V-K cable has been specially designed for installations that reguire a flexible cable due to the complex nature of their layout.
This cable is especially suitable for domestic wiring.
It may also be used for eguipment wiring,distributors,cabinets and tighting.

Can battery cable be installed under the hood?

Under hood battery cable must tolerate elevated temperature, vibration, oil, fuel vapors, abrasion and tight routing. A cable that works in a cabin may not be suitable near an engine. GERITEL WIRE can manufacture automotive battery cable with an insulation construction chosen for the stated temperature and fluid exposure and can provide samples for bend, strip and crimp validation.

Can battery cable be used outdoors?

Outdoor battery cable needs suitable resistance to sunlight, moisture, temperature cycling and abrasion. The word battery cable alone does not guarantee UV or weather resistance. GERITEL WIRE can discuss outdoor rated battery cable compounds and marking requirements based on the target standard, installation method and expected service life, helping buyers avoid using indoor cable in exposed solar or equipment applications.

Will battery cable stay flexible in cold weather?

Cold temperatures can make some insulation compounds stiff or brittle, even when the copper conductor remains flexible. Cold weather battery cable should be selected using a verified low-temperature rating and the minimum installation bend requirement. GERITEL WIRE can propose suitable insulation and strand construction and provide a sample for customer testing when the project operates in winter, refrigerated or high-altitude conditions.

Can battery cable run close to an exhaust or engine block?

Battery cable should be routed away from exhaust components and other heat sources whenever possible. If proximity is unavoidable, use high temperature battery cable, heat shielding and secure supports, and verify the actual surface and ambient temperatures. GERITEL WIRE can supply a suitable cable construction after receiving the temperature range, but routing protection remains part of the installation design.
