Application
RV-K cable is designed for applications where high flexibility and ease of installation are critical. Its exceptional flexibility makes it particularly suitable for complex layouts that require tight bends or intricate routing. This cable greatly simplifies the installation process, reducing time and effort, and making it a top choice in environments where flexibility and ease of operation are a priority. It can be buried underground, installed in ducts, or laid in the open air without the need for additional protective measures. This feature makes it ideal for outdoor and underground installations where durability and protection from environmental factors are important.
In addition, RV-K cable is resistant to wet conditions, including full immersion in water, which makes it suitable for installation in wet environments, such as outdoors in fields, near bodies of water, or in areas prone to moisture.

Feature

RV-K cables are made of class 5 flexible electrolytic copper conductors in accordance with EN 60228, ensuring excellent conductivity and flexibility. This makes the cable ideal for applications where flexibility and high performance are required, such as in tight spaces or moving areas. XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) insulation is used, which provides excellent electrical insulation properties for increased safety and reliability. XLPE insulation also offers excellent resistance to heat, moisture and mechanical stress, making RV-K cables suitable for demanding environments. The outer jacket is made of flexible PVC, which provides strong mechanical protection and makes the cable resistant to abrasion, chemicals and weathering. This flexible PVC jacket ensures that the cable can withstand harsh conditions without compromising its performance or safety.

FAQ
Q: What is the RV-K cable?
Q: What is K type cable?
The insulation material in K-type cables can vary, but is usually made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene). The insulation is used to protect the conductors from short circuits, moisture and environmental factors.
The outer jacket of K-type cables is usually made of flexible PVC, which provides mechanical protection and increases the cable's resistance to environmental stresses such as UV radiation, abrasion and moisture. In some cases, other materials such as rubber or HFFR (halogen-free, fire-resistant) jackets can be used for more demanding environments.
K-type cables are usually designed for low and medium voltage applications, with typical voltage ratings of 0.6/1 kV or 300/500 V, depending on the application and standard.
