Easy-Routing Building Wire for Panels and Protected Conduit

1.5mm2 stranded building wire combines a seven-wire plain annealed copper conductor with V-90 PVC insulation for protected electrical installation work. The stranded construction supports cleaner bends than a solid conductor when routing a single core conduit wire through panels, apparatus, junction areas and enclosed wiring systems. This 600/1000V copper cable is produced to AS/NZS 5000.1 with conductor requirements aligned to AS/NZS 1125 and a 75°C maximum continuous operating temperature. GERITEL WIRE can arrange standard circuit colours, green/yellow earth identification, meter marking, custom printing and coil or reel packing. Installation design should verify load, protective device, terminal size and conduit conditions.

What is the voltage rating of this single core cable?

The 0.6/1kV single core cable is rated 600/1000V. Voltage rating does not determine the allowable current by itself, so the installer must also evaluate conductor size, route length, grouping, ambient temperature and installation method. GERITEL WIRE can provide dimensional and conductor information for the design review.

What conductor material is used in the cable?

The cable uses a plain annealed copper conductor manufactured to the relevant AS/NZS 1125 requirements. GERITEL WIRE can confirm the strand construction for each nominal size, provide batch inspection records when agreed, and maintain the approved copper and dimensional specification throughout the production order.

Which standards apply to this V90 building wire?
