Green/Yellow Protective Earth Conductor for Electrical Installations

This 35mm flexible protective earth cable provides a practical solution for protective earth where a flexible conductor is required but the completed installation remains fixed. Its bunched annealed copper conductor meets AS/NZS 1125 Class 5, and the V-90 PVC insulation is produced to AS/NZS 5000.1 for 0.6/1kV service. The 35mm V-90 PVC flexible earth conductor is suitable for glanding, has a 0°C minimum operating temperature and a +90°C maximum operating temperature, and is tested for flame propagation to AS/NZS 1660.5.6. GERITEL WIRE offers blue, red, black, white, green, yellow and green/yellow insulation colours. For protective earthing, specify the green/yellow 35mm green yellow Class 5 cable and confirm size, gland and termination details with the project engineer.

Do not assume the 600/1000V AC designation automatically gives the same DC rating. The system voltage, earthing arrangement, insulation stress and applicable DC standard must be reviewed.
