Green Yellow Earth Cable for Fixed Electrical Apparatus

150mm2 V90 grounding conductor uses thirty-seven 2.25 mm plain annealed copper strands for substantial fixed-earth links in industrial switchboards, distribution systems and protected electrical apparatus. The 37/2.25 copper earth wire follows AS/NZS 1125, while the complete 0.6/1kV protective earthing cable is manufactured to AS/NZS 5000.1. It has V-90 PVC insulation only, no outer sheath and a 75°C maximum continuous operating temperature. GERITEL WIRE can coordinate custom drum schedules, cable printing, pallet protection and batch documents for export projects. Engineering approval should address fault-current withstand, pulling forces, support, bend radius, gland choice and lug dimensions.

Can a single earth conductor share conduit with circuit conductors?

Single core earth wire in conduit may share the route with associated conductors when the applicable wiring rules, fill limits and circuit arrangement permit it. GERITEL WIRE can provide matching lengths and dimensions, while the licensed contractor confirms grouping and identification requirements.

Does the unsheathed cable need mechanical protection?

Earth cable mechanical protection is required where the insulation-only conductor could be damaged by impact, sharp edges, movement or access. GERITEL WIRE describes the product as protected fixed wiring and can recommend a sheathed or armoured alternative when the route is exposed.
