Ground Wire for Distribution Boards and Fixed Equipment

6mm2 protective earth cable contains seven 1.04 mm plain annealed copper wires and is intended for fixed protective-earth connections in distribution boards, switchboards, machinery enclosures and protected conduit. The PVC insulated grounding conductor is manufactured to AS/NZS 5000.1, while the AS/NZS 1125 copper earth wire construction supports consistent conductor dimensions and performance. Rated 600/1000V, the cable has V-90 PVC insulation only and a 75°C maximum continuous operating temperature. GERITEL WIRE can coordinate green/yellow colour, length marking, coils or reels and batch identification. The project engineer should confirm earth-conductor size, fault current and termination requirements.
