110C Flexible Power Cable for Transformer and Busbar Connections
Built for large fixed power circuits, the 240mm² low fire hazard cable combines fine-stranded copper flexibility with a 110°C temperature rating and halogen-free materials. The 0.6/1kV X-HF-110 cable uses a Class 5 annealed copper conductor, natural X-HF-110 insulation and a black HFS-110-TP sheath. It may be applied as a transformer connection cable in low-voltage rooms or as a flexible cable for busbar connections, main switchboards and industrial submains. Free-air, conduit, trench and underground duct routing are supported where mechanical protection is appropriate. Applications

 

Flexible single core X-HF-110 insulated and HFS-110-TP sheathed cable for mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit or in underground ducts for building and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage. Suitable where space is at a premium and/or where conditions of overload may occur.

What does LSZH mean?
LSZH means low smoke zero halogen. An LSZH flexible cable is selected to reduce dense smoke and corrosive halogen gases during fire compared with PVC-based materials. GERITEL WIRE can provide the available LSZH and flame-performance documents for project review.
Is LSZH cable safer for occupied buildings?
LSZH materials are often preferred in hospitals, data centres, stations and other occupied facilities because lower smoke and halogen emissions can support evacuation and reduce corrosive damage. Final selection remains a project-engineering decision. GERITEL WIRE supplies the low fire hazard cable documents needed for consultant review.
Can the cable be installed next to a furnace?
It may be used for protected auxiliary power wiring in high-temperature industrial areas, but it should not touch a furnace or be exposed beyond its material and ambient limits. GERITEL WIRE reviews distance, heat shielding and route conditions before confirming a cable for furnace auxiliary equipment.
What is the short-circuit temperature rating?
The short-circuit temperature is not the same as the 110°C continuous operating rating and must be confirmed from the exact approved technical data.
