GERITEL WIRE supplies 6mm Yellow Twin and Earth Cable for engineered fixed circuits needing greater conductor area than common lighting sizes. The flat 2C+E construction uses plain annealed copper, V-90 PVC insulation and a yellow sheath for project identification. This 450/750V Yellow Flat Cable can be evaluated for modular utility rooms, selected HVAC auxiliary circuits and dedicated building services where drawings specify this construction. It also targets Yellow TPS Cable for Modular Utility Wiring. Samples, custom printing and project drums are available for 6 mm² Yellow 2 Core and Earth Cable; the consultant must verify ampacity, voltage drop, protection, fire requirements and approval coverage.

Is yellow TPS the same as blue air-conditioning cable?

No. Blue TPS is commonly marketed for air-conditioning and heat-pump wiring, while yellow products are often associated with lighting or project identification. The GERITEL Yellow Flat Electrical Cable should be selected by structure and circuit design, not by substituting it for Blue HVAC TPS Cable. Separate product pages prevent colour-based confusion.

Is yellow TPS the same as purple non-migratory cable?

No. Purple sheath is commonly used to identify non-migratory TPS intended for compatibility with certain foam insulation materials. A standard Yellow PVC TPS Cable should not be assumed to have that performance. For insulated panels or capsule-house walls, GERITEL WIRE recommends confirming whether Non-Migratory Flat TPS Cable is required.

Can the yellow colour be customized to match a project code?

GERITEL WIRE can discuss sheath-colour matching for project identification, subject to pigment, production quantity and approval requirements. Customers ordering Custom Yellow Sheath Cable should provide a colour reference and required markings. We can prepare a sample of the OEM Yellow TPS Cable before mass production.

Will the yellow sheath fade during indoor use?

PVC colour stability depends on formulation, heat, chemicals and exposure conditions. For protected indoor fixed wiring, the sheath is not normally selected as a decorative finish. GERITEL WIRE can provide an approved sample of Yellow PVC Sheathed Cable and discuss storage requirements for Yellow Flat Building Wire before shipment.
