Application
3.5mm THHN wire is widely used in various small and medium-sized power systems. It is a common and reliable wiring choice in the industrial and construction fields. It can be used for branch circuit wiring in buildings, such as socket loops, lighting circuits, and power supply for medium-load equipment such as air conditioners and electric heaters. It has a compact structure and is easy to install through conduits (Conduit), which complies with the building electrical specifications of many countries. In industrial applications, 3.5mm THHN wire is often used for wiring in control cabinets, connections between equipment, and motor control circuits. For example, in electrical control panels, distribution boards, and equipment junction boxes. Electrical panel and equipment wiring, used for equipment connection in the distribution board (Panel board), such as switches, circuit breakers, relays, etc., with a rated temperature of up to 90°C (dry environment), which meets the operating requirements of heat load equipment.

Feature

THHN wire 3.5mm is usually a stranded structure, equivalent to 12 AWG, and the conductor is made of high-quality copper to ensure low resistance and high-efficiency current transmission. Its insulation part consists of a 0.4mm thick PVC insulation layer and a 0.10mm thick nylon sheath, which not only provides good electrical insulation, but also enhances the protection against oil, chemical corrosion and mechanical damage. The overall outer diameter is about 3.40mm, the structure is compact, and it is easy to lay and install through pipes. Its minimum insulation resistance is 110 mΩ/kM, ensuring stable electrical performance during long-distance wiring.

Certification
THHN wire is UL certified under UL83, file number E544861 that can be verified directly on the official UL website. UL certification meeting the standard required for major government and infrastructure projects. That ensures consistent safety and performance across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
