As a silicone control cable for packaging line equipment, it can be considered for heat-sealing, shrink-wrapping, laminating and film-processing machinery where tensile stress is limited. Machine builders can specify identification, jacket colour, printing, reels or cut lengths to suit assembly flow.

Is SiHF-J suitable near furnace burners?

A furnace connection cable can serve burner controls, fans, sensors and heater auxiliaries when it is kept away from direct flame, crushing and excessive radiant heat. GERITEL WIRE asks for the cable-route temperature rather than furnace chamber temperature and can recommend protective routing or a different construction when exposure is too severe.

Can the cable be used in freezers and cold rooms?

A cold storage silicone cable is useful for heaters, evaporator fans, defrost controls and equipment wiring because silicone remains flexible at low temperature. GERITEL WIRE checks condensation, gland sealing, movement during service and local electrical requirements; it is not positioned as a submersible or direct-burial product.

Does the temperature rating include conductor heating from current?

The rating of a high temperature equipment cable must account for both ambient heat and temperature rise caused by current. GERITEL WIRE requests load current, grouping, ventilation and duty cycle so the selected conductor is not sized from ambient temperature alone. Final ampacity should follow the project engineer and applicable installation rules.

Can the sheath touch a 200°C metal surface?

A silicone cable for hot surfaces should not be approved only from a headline temperature. Continuous contact can create local hot spots, abrasion and mechanical damage. GERITEL WIRE recommends measuring the contact temperature, using supports or thermal separation where possible, and confirming the exact ordered construction before installation.
