AL EPR/CTS/PVC MV-105 is a professional 35kV medium voltage shielded power cable structured with high-performance compact aluminum conductor, standard 100% insulation level and 345-mil heavy-duty copper tape shielding. Engineered for reliable and economical high-voltage power transmission, it features 105°C high-temperature resistant EPR insulation, full CTS shielding layer and sturdy anti-aging PVC outer jacket. The standardized 100% insulation level matches conventional 35kV power grid fault protection standards, while the 345-mil thick copper tape shield effectively stabilizes internal electric field, suppresses partial discharge and provides reliable electromagnetic shielding. Adopting aluminum conductor, the cable features lightweight design and cost advantages over copper cables, with outstanding water-tree resistance, thermal stability and mechanical durability. It adapts to underground conduit, direct burial and cable tray installation, widely applied in municipal power grids, general industrial power distribution, substation connection and conventional 35kV medium-voltage power supply projects.

Product Description

 

The Medium Voltage, EPR/Cu Tape Shield/PVC, Type MV-105 Cable consist of Aluminum Class B stranded conductors, covered with ethylene propylene rubber (EPR), copper tape shield, and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in industrial power circuits.

  • In conduit, duct, free air, and raceways, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
  • In direct burial if installed in a system with a ground conductor that is in close proximity, and conforms with NEC 250.4 (A)(5)
  • In wet or dry locations
  • Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
  • Designed to operate continuously at a conductor temperature not exceeding
