35kV 133% Insulation Level – Maximum Dielectric Strength for Utility and Industrial Power
This 35kV 133% insulation level medium voltage cable delivers maximum dielectric strength and operational safety for the most demanding power infrastructure applications. Featuring 420 mils of EPR insulation-the thickest in the Type MV-105 product family-this cable provides the highest level of insulation protection available. The pure copper conductor ensures excellent conductivity, while the copper tape shield provides effective grounding, fault current management, and EMI protection for sensitive system components. UL1072 certified and rated for 5kV-35kV applications, this cable is Type MV-105 rated for continuous 105°C conductor temperature. Product Description

 

The Medium Voltage, EPR/Cu Tape Shield/PVC, Type MV-105 Cable consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors, covered with ethylene propylene rubber (EPR), copper tape shield, and black PVC jacket.These cables are used in industrial power circuits.

Applications

 
  • In conduit, duct, free air, and raceways, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
  • In direct burial if installed in a system with a ground conductor that is in close proximity, and conforms with NEC 250.4 (A)(5)
  • In wet or dry locations
  • Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
  • Designed to operate continuously at a conductor temperature not exceeding
