Higher Capacity Fixed Wiring for Commercial Equipment Panels and Protected Power Circuits
10 AWG RHH cable gives designers more conductor cross-section than smaller branch-circuit sizes while retaining the handling benefits of stranded copper. GERITEL WIRE produces 10 AWG RHH copper wire with thermoset insulation for 90°C dry-location service, making it suitable for protected equipment feeders, commercial electrical rooms, panel connections and conduit systems when RHH is specified. The final allowable current depends on installation conditions, conductor count, ambient temperature and termination ratings. GERITEL WIRE supplies 10 AWG UL44 wire with 600V, 1000V or 2000V identification, custom printing, reel lengths and project packaging for OEM and contractor orders.

Application and Description

 

GERITEL WIRE's USE-2 600 Volts or RHH/RHW-2 1000 Volts power cables are suited for use in wet and dry areas, conduits, ducts, troughs, direct burial, aerial supported by a messenger, and where superior electrical properties are desired. These cables are capable of operating continuously at the conductor temperature not in excess of 90°C for normal operation in wet and dry locations, 130°C for emergency overload, and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Rated for 1000 lb/ft maximum sidewall pressure.
