1000 kcmil aluminum RHH wire is the largest conductor in this product matrix and is intended for major facility feeders where very high conductor capacity is required. At this scale, cable selection must account for much more than ampacity: voltage drop, pathway size, bend radius, reel handling, equipment entry and aluminum-rated terminations all influence the final design. GERITEL WIRE supplies 1000 MCM aluminum RHH cable with stranded aluminum and thermoset insulation for protected 90°C dry-location service. 1000 kcmil aluminum RHH power cable can be produced with the confirmed voltage class, project identification and reel plan. APPLICATIONS

Type USE-2, RHH or RHW-2 cables with Aluminum Alloy 8000 Series conductors are suitable for use in conduit and raceways installed underground in wet locations, and where condensation and moisture accumulations within the conduit do not exceed 90°C. Permitted for Type USE-2 per UL-854 for applications requiring direct burial. For applications requiring Type RHH or RHW-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations. Type USE-2 is permitted for 600 volt applications. Type RHH/RHW-2 is permitted for applications up to 1000 volts.

FEATURES

10 AWG and larger rated for Sunlight Resistance. Cables comply with UL's FT-2 (horizontal wire flame). On 250 KCMIL and larger, sequential foot markings located every foot for easy measuring. For 1 AWG through 4/0 AWG, sequential foot markings on master reels only unless otherwise specified. 1/0 AWG and larger are rated for cable tray use and comply with UL-1685-Method 1 (70,000 Btu/hr) flame test. Excellent ruggedized and mechanical protection.
