Industrial panel and motor-feeder work places more emphasis on conductor capacity, equipment termination and installation efficiency than smaller building circuits. 4 AWG aluminum RHH wire provides a strong feeder option where aluminum is accepted by the design and connected equipment. GERITEL WIRE supplies 4 AWG aluminum RHH feeder cable with stranded aluminum and thermoset insulation for protected 90°C dry-location systems, including conduit and raceway installations. UL44 4 AWG aluminum RHH cable can be ordered with the required voltage marking, customer identification, project reel length and bulk packaging, allowing panel builders and contractors to align cable supply with equipment and site schedules.

APPLICATIONS

Type USE-2, RHH or RHW-2 cables with Aluminum Alloy 8000 Series conductors are suitable for use in conduit and raceways installed underground in wet locations, and where condensation and moisture accumulations within the conduit do not exceed 90°C. Permitted for Type USE-2 per UL-854 for applications requiring direct burial. For applications requiring Type RHH or RHW-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations. Type USE-2 is permitted for 600 volt applications. Type RHH/RHW-2 is permitted for applications up to 1000 volts.

FEATURES

10 AWG and larger rated for Sunlight Resistance. Cables comply with UL's FT-2 (horizontal wire flame). On 250 KCMIL and larger, sequential foot markings located every foot for easy measuring. For 1 AWG through 4/0 AWG, sequential foot markings on master reels only unless otherwise specified. 1/0 AWG and larger are rated for cable tray use and comply with UL-1685-Method 1 (70,000 Btu/hr) flame test. Excellent ruggedized and mechanical protection.
