250 kcmil THW wire is designed for high-capacity building feeders where efficient power delivery and reliable project supply are equally important. GERITEL WIRE uses stranded copper with 2.41 mm PVC insulation, producing an approximate overall diameter of 19.69 mm and resistance of about 0.142 Ω/km at 20°C. The 75°C ampacity reference is 255 A. This size is a practical choice for industrial distribution, large commercial electrical rooms and facility-level AC feeders in data centers, where conductors are installed in properly engineered raceways. GERITEL WIRE 250 kcmil THW copper cable is available with custom identification, project colors and wooden-drum packing for easier logistics on large construction sites.

Application and Description

The THW conductor is suitable for most current wiring solutions for residential, commercial and industrial environments. It is used in service entrance, feeders and branch circuits for permanent installations.THWconductors in sizes 14 AWG to 1000 Kcmil (MCM) can be installed in conduits and other raceways.The temperature of installation shall not exceed 75°C(THW), not exceed 90°C(THW-2).
