Industrial feeders often need a conductor that can carry higher loads without making installation unnecessarily complex. GERITEL WIRE 4 AWG THW wire uses stranded copper with 1.52 mm PVC insulation and an approximate 9.08 mm overall diameter, giving installers a practical balance of conductivity, flexibility and mechanical protection. At 20°C, conductor resistance is about 0.848 Ω/km, which helps limit voltage drop in longer feeder runs. The 75°C ampacity reference is 85 A. This UL83 THW cable is a practical choice for switchboards, distribution panels, mechanical rooms and production facilities using approved raceways. OEM marking, project colors and bulk reel supply are available for repeat orders.

Application and Description

The THW conductor is suitable for most current wiring solutions for residential, commercial and industrial environments. It is used in service entrance, feeders and branch circuits for permanent installations.THWconductors in sizes 14 AWG to 1000 Kcmil (MCM) can be installed in conduits and other raceways.The temperature of installation shall not exceed 75°C(THW), not exceed 90°C(THW-2).
