Feature

UL 83 copper THW building wire is a single-strand copper conductor cable with a stranded design and insulated with moisture-resistant, flame-retardant and UV-resistant PVC material. The cable is available in a variety of colors to meet different installation needs. It meets a range of international standards, including ASTM B-3 (soft or annealed copper), B-8 (concentric stranded copper), B-787 (combined stranded copper), as well as UL 83, ICEA S-95-658/NEMA WC-70 and Federal Specification A-A-59544. It has a VW-1 flame retardant rating, can withstand temperatures up to 90°C in wet or dry environments, is resistant to sunlight, oil and gasoline, and complies with the RoHS directive to ensure it meets environmental requirements.
