Three Phase Motor Feeder Cable with Low Fire Hazard Construction
Built for industrial three-phase circuits, the 3x35+1x10E 3 phase plus earth cable combines three Class 5 copper active cores with a dedicated earth conductor in one 0.6/1kV flexible assembly. The fine-stranded design makes it a practical flexible cable for MCC feeders and fixed equipment connections where rigid multicore cable is difficult to route. X-HF-110 insulation and the HFS-110-TP sheath provide an LSZH motor power cable solution with a conductor operating rating up to 110°C. It can also serve as a 3C+E cable for pump stations, fan systems and process equipment subject to engineering selection. Applications

 

Flexible single core X-HF-110 insulated and HFS-110-TP sheathed cable for mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit or in underground ducts for building and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage. Suitable where space is at a premium and/or where conditions of overload may occur.

Does the cable include a neutral conductor?
No. A standard 3C+E power cable contains three active conductors and one protective earth conductor, not a neutral. If the circuit requires L1, L2, L3, neutral and earth, another core configuration is needed. GERITEL WIRE checks the circuit schedule before recommending 3C+E or 4C+E.
Can I use this cable for both building and industrial installations?
Yes, subject to the design and installation conditions. A 3C+E fixed wiring cable is commonly used for mains, submains, switchboards and equipment feeders in commercial and industrial environments. GERITEL WIRE matches the proposed size, application and certificate scope before preparing the final offer.
What insulation material is used on the cores?
The current construction uses X-HF-110 insulation around the flexible copper conductors. An X-HF-110 flexible multicore cable is selected where higher conductor temperature capability and low-fire-hazard material performance are required. GERITEL WIRE identifies the insulation material clearly in the datasheet and quotation.
What is HFS-110-TP?
HFS-110-TP is the halogen-free thermoplastic outer sheath material used on the cable. An HFS-110-TP sheathed multicore cable combines mechanical outer protection with low-smoke, halogen-free and flame-retardant characteristics. GERITEL WIRE confirms sheath colour, printing and dimensions before production.
