110°C Building Submains Cable for Commercial Distribution

The 3x25+1x6E 110C elastomer cable provides three flexible active conductors plus a reduced protective earth core for commercial low-voltage distribution. It works as a 3 core and earth submains cable between main boards, distribution boards, service risers and plant rooms where easier routing is valuable. The X-HF-110 insulated cores and HFS-110-TP outer sheath create a low fire hazard cable for high rise buildings with LSZH and flame-retardant performance. The construction can also be specified as a 3C+E cable for conduit, free-air routes, protected trenches and underground ducts. Is the conductor flexible?

Yes. The cable uses fine-stranded flexible copper conductors intended to make installation, bending and termination easier than a rigid multicore construction. A Class 5 copper 3C+E cable is especially useful in switchrooms, MCC areas and plant rooms where large cables must be routed neatly. GERITEL WIRE can also plan practical drum lengths for the installation route.

Is this the same product as ordinary orange circular PVC cable?

Not exactly. Orange circular describes a common Australian cable form and colour, but different products may use PVC, XLPE or halogen-free materials.
