Flexible 3 Core and Earth Cable for Switchboard and MCC Feeders
The 3x16+1x6E X-HF-110 cable is designed for fixed three-phase distribution where flexible routing and a dedicated protective earth conductor are required. Its Class 5 copper 3C+E cable construction uses fine-stranded annealed copper to simplify bending and termination in confined electrical rooms. It is well suited as a 3C+E cable for switchboards, MCC panels and small industrial feeders. X-HF-110 insulation and an HFS-110-TP sheath form a fixed wiring multicore LSZH cable with low-smoke, halogen-free and flame-retardant characteristics for 0.6/1kV systems. Applications

 

Flexible single core X-HF-110 insulated and HFS-110-TP sheathed cable for mains, submains and subcircuits unenclosed, enclosed in conduit or in underground ducts for building and industrial plants where not subject to mechanical damage. Suitable where space is at a premium and/or where conditions of overload may occur.

What does 3C+E mean on this cable?
3C+E means three insulated current-carrying conductors plus one protective earth conductor. A 3 core and earth elastomer cable is commonly selected for three-phase fixed wiring where the earth conductor is included in the same sheath. GERITEL WIRE confirms both phase and earth cross-sections on the quotation so the buyer receives the exact reduced-earth construction requested.
Is this cable designed for three-phase circuits?
Yes, a 3 phase plus earth cable is commonly used for three-phase circuits that do not require a neutral conductor in the same cable. The final circuit arrangement still depends on the equipment and local design. GERITEL WIRE checks the customer's wiring schedule before confirming the 3C+E construction.
Is this cable 0.6/1kV rated?
