Single core anti-termite 1.9/3.3(3.6)kV aluminum unarmored MV cable's composite sheath is specifically designed for added protection. The inner layer is made of extruded polyvinyl chloride (PVC) in orange, while the outer layer is composed of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), providing robust protection against environmental hazards. The anti-termite layer is made from Polyamide (Nylon-12), effectively shielding the cable from damage caused by termites and other pests, which is crucial in areas prone to such risks. This termite-resistant feature ensures the cable's longevity, particularly in tropical and subtropical regions where termite activity is common. MV cable is capable of operating effectively in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +90°C and can even operate up to 105°C in emergency situations.
Min. installation temperature: 0°C
Operating temperature: -25°C to +90°C
Emergency operating temperature: 105°C
(max. operation of 36hrs, at 3 periods for 12 consecutive months use)
Max. Short Circuit Temperature: 250°C
characteristics

Certification
Anti-Termite aluminum 1.9/3.3(3.6)kV medium voltage cable complies with AS/NZS 1429.1 standard and has passed SAA certification. Certification Numbers: SAA242046 and SAA250307.During the certification process, cables undergo rigorous testing for dielectric strength, insulation integrity, flame retardancy, and mechanical durability. These tests ensure that the cables will operate reliably under all conditions after installation, reducing the risk of electrical failures, fires, or power outages.
