Their cross-linkedpolyethylene insulation provides excellent thermal performance,electrical strength, and resistance to moisture and chemicals, makingthem suitable for use in enclosed and unenclosed cable trays,conduits, switchboards, and underground systems. These cables arecommonly used for mains and sub-mains feeders, transformer andswitchgear connections, and high-capacity distribution circuits whererobust current-carrying capability and long-term durability areessential.
