These terms are not interchangeable. Fire-resistant cable is designed to maintain circuit integrity under a specified fire test, while flame-retardant cable limits flame spread. GERITEL WIRE identifies the tested category of the orange power cable and can recommend a separate fire-rated construction when required.
Can the cable be supplied with third-party inspection?
