The copper conductor provides a substantial conductive area, with XLPE insulation for thermal capability and an orange PVC sheath for protection and identification. Use suitable rollers, pulling equipment, lubricant where approved, controlled tension and a route without sharp edges. GERITEL WIRE supplies the orange power cable on protective drums and can provide handling guidance, but installation supervision remains essential.
What cable gland should I use?
The gland must match the actual cable diameter, enclosure type, sealing requirement and non-armoured construction. GERITEL WIRE can provide the single core orange power cable outer diameter and tolerance so the customer can select the correct gland range.
What lug size is required for the copper conductor?
