Is the GERITEL yellow cable the same as Nexans SWITCH cable?
Not necessarily. Nexans markets yellow SWITCH as a three-working-core cable without an earth core, while the GERITEL product shown is a Yellow 2C+E Cable. Both may have yellow sheaths, but their conductor functions differ. GERITEL WIRE therefore recommends using Yellow Twin and Earth TPS Cable wording on this product page rather than copying a no-earth SWITCH description.
What is the difference between Yellow SWITCH and Yellow SWITCH PLUS cable?
Yellow SWITCH is commonly a three-core lighting cable without earth, whereas SWITCH PLUS is a four-core-plus-earth product for more complex lighting control. The GERITEL product in this workbook is a separate Yellow 2 Core Earth Cable. Buyers needing multiway switching should not substitute it for Yellow Switch Plus Cable without checking the required conductor count.
