The cable combines three insulated copper circuit conductors with RW90 XLPE insulation, a bare copper bonding conductor, paper wrap and flexible interlocked aluminium armour in a 600V building-wire construction. The armour provides useful mechanical protection while maintaining practical routing flexibility through walls, ceilings and service spaces. Can AC90 be used in green building projects?

Yes. AC90 cable for green buildings can be specified in green-building projects where the project accepts AC90 and the exact cable meets required performance and documentation criteria.

Can AC90 be installed outdoors?

Standard AC90 dry location cable should not be selected as a general outdoor cable. For wet or weather-exposed installations, choose a cable specifically certified for those conditions.
