Can AC90 be direct buried?

A typical 90C AC90 cable uses conductor insulation associated with a 90°C temperature class. Actual ampacity can still be limited by terminals, ambient temperature, bundling and code rules.

Can AC90 be installed in conduit?

AC90 armoured cable may pass through sleeves or raceways where additional protection is needed, but it is already a complete armoured wiring method. Raceway fill and code rules still apply.

What connector should be used for AC90?

Use an approved AC90 cable connector that matches the cable diameter, armour type and enclosure entry. Proper fittings secure the armour and support the required bonding path.

How should AC90 be terminated at a panel?

An AC90 panel connection should use an approved armoured-cable fitting. The armour, bonding conductor and insulated conductors must be prepared and terminated according to the fitting instructions and code.
