The Black/Red 2 Conductor design supports clear identification, while the aluminum armour adds practical mechanical protection for appropriate dry interior routes. GERITEL WIRE produces AC90 copper wire for electrical wholesalers, contractors, modular builders and project procurement teams, with services such as customized cable printing, project packaging, batch documentation and repeat-order production. The 600V construction is intended for building wiring rather than portable use, direct burial or general wet-location service unless a different certified cable type is specified.

Copper AC90 wire provides high conductivity, stable terminations and strong familiarity among electrical contractors. It is widely used for building branch circuits and related indoor distribution.

Does AC90 have a separate jacket over the armour?

Standard AC90 building cable normally does not use a continuous outer polymer jacket over the interlocked armour. If the project requires a jacketed wet-location construction, another armoured cable type should be evaluated.
