Can TECK90 be ordered with one insulated copper conductor?

Yes. A 1C TECK90 copper cable has one insulated phase or power conductor in the standard single-conductor construction. Other metallic layers, notably concentric bonding wires and the armour, may still surround that conductor. The selected conductor size and assembly should match the approved 1000V product data.

Is TECK90 considered a power cable or a control cable?

The single-conductor 1000V TECK90 power cable is primarily a feeder and power-distribution product. The broader TECK90 family can include multi-conductor control configurations, but a one-core power design should not be described as a multi-pair instrumentation or flexible control cable.
