Can SiHF-J be used on semiconductor heat-treatment furnaces?

A semiconductor furnace silicone cable can connect protected heaters, actuators and controls outside the process chamber, but cleanroom rules, outgassing, particle control, chemical exposure and shielding may be more restrictive than temperature alone. GERITEL WIRE can review the customer's material specification and circuit list before confirming whether standard or customized cable is appropriate.

Can SiHF-J be installed in a ship engine room?

A marine engine room silicone cable must satisfy the vessel's class, flag, flame, oil, smoke, mechanical and installation requirements. Standard industrial SiHF-J is not automatically marine approved even if it tolerates heat. GERITEL WIRE can review the requested class documentation and operating environment, then confirm certificate scope or propose a more suitable shipboard cable.

Does flame-retardant SiHF-J maintain circuit operation during a fire?

A flame-retardant test limits flame propagation; it does not automatically make SiHF-J a fire survival silicone cable that maintains circuit integrity for a stated time. Emergency circuits require the relevant fire-resistance standard and complete system approval.
