GERITEL WIRE manufactures 2 AWG RHH industrial cable with stranded copper conductors for dependable conductivity and thermoset insulation designed for 90°C dry-location service. This size can support switchgear, panelboard and equipment feeder applications when selected by the project engineer. Because allowable ampacity varies with code conditions and termination ratings, final sizing should follow the complete installation design. GERITEL WIRE offers 2 AWG copper feeder wire with multiple voltage markings, custom printing, reel lengths and bulk project packaging.

Application and Description

GERITEL WIRE's USE-2 600 Volts or RHH/RHW-2 1000 Volts power cables are suited for use in wet and dry areas, conduits, ducts, troughs, direct burial, aerial supported by a messenger, and where superior electrical properties are desired. These cables are capable of operating continuously at the conductor temperature not in excess of 90°C for normal operation in wet and dry locations, 130°C for emergency overload, and 250°C for short circuit conditions. Rated for 1000 lb/ft maximum sidewall pressure.
