UL44 Aluminum RHH Wire is suitable for protected power-distribution systems in manufacturing plants, utility rooms and industrial equipment areas. GERITEL WIRE combines a stranded aluminum conductor with thermoset insulation designed for 90°C service in dry locations, creating a practical wiring solution for fixed feeders and facility power networks. Industrial Aluminum Power Cable can reduce overall cable weight on larger installations while still requiring proper conductor sizing and termination selection by the project engineer. GERITEL WIRE supplies Aluminum RHH Wire for Equipment Rooms with customized printing, voltage identification, reel lengths and packaging for contractors, system integrators and industrial distributors.

APPLICATIONS

Type USE-2, RHH or RHW-2 cables with Aluminum Alloy 8000 Series conductors are suitable for use in conduit and raceways installed underground in wet locations, and where condensation and moisture accumulations within the conduit do not exceed 90°C. Permitted for Type USE-2 per UL-854 for applications requiring direct burial. For applications requiring Type RHH or RHW-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations. Type USE-2 is permitted for 600 volt applications. Type RHH/RHW-2 is permitted for applications up to 1000 volts.

FEATURES

10 AWG and larger rated for Sunlight Resistance. Cables comply with UL's FT-2 (horizontal wire flame). On 250 KCMIL and larger, sequential foot markings located every foot for easy measuring. For 1 AWG through 4/0 AWG, sequential foot markings on master reels only unless otherwise specified. 1/0 AWG and larger are rated for cable tray use and comply with UL-1685-Method 1 (70,000 Btu/hr) flame test. Excellent ruggedized and mechanical protection.
