GERITEL WIRE manufactures stranded aluminum RHH conductors with thermoset insulation for 90°C dry-location service, supporting commercial campuses, industrial plants and protected main-distribution pathways. Aluminum RHH Feeder Wire can help simplify handling compared with heavier conductor alternatives, while conductor size must still be selected from the actual load and code conditions. GERITEL WIRE supplies Large Feeder Aluminum Cable with multiple voltage options, custom printing, project reel lengths, packaging and phased delivery support for large construction programs.

APPLICATIONS

Type USE-2, RHH or RHW-2 cables with Aluminum Alloy 8000 Series conductors are suitable for use in conduit and raceways installed underground in wet locations, and where condensation and moisture accumulations within the conduit do not exceed 90°C. Permitted for Type USE-2 per UL-854 for applications requiring direct burial. For applications requiring Type RHH or RHW-2, conductor temperatures shall not exceed 90°C in wet or dry locations. Type USE-2 is permitted for 600 volt applications. Type RHH/RHW-2 is permitted for applications up to 1000 volts.

FEATURES

10 AWG and larger rated for Sunlight Resistance. Cables comply with UL's FT-2 (horizontal wire flame). On 250 KCMIL and larger, sequential foot markings located every foot for easy measuring. For 1 AWG through 4/0 AWG, sequential foot markings on master reels only unless otherwise specified. 1/0 AWG and larger are rated for cable tray use and comply with UL-1685-Method 1 (70,000 Btu/hr) flame test. Excellent ruggedized and mechanical protection.
