3/0 AWG TC-ER – Extra Capacity for Long-Distance Industrial Power Distribution

Long feeder runs present two challenges: voltage drop and heat buildup. 3/0 AWG TC-ER tray cable addresses both with a generous conductor cross-section that keeps voltage drop within acceptable limits over extended distances while XLPE insulation ensures stable performance at elevated temperatures. The stranded copper conductors offer the flexibility needed for installation in cable trays and conduits with multiple bends. UL1277 and UL44 certified with 600V rating, this cable is approved for exposed run installations without conduit. Product Description

The XLPE/PVC, 600V Power, Type TC-ER Direct Burial Cable consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors, covered with oil and gas resistant Cross-linked Polyethylene (XLPE) insulation, unshielded and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in industrial power.

Applications

In conduit, duct, free air, raceways and direct burial, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
In wet or dry locations
Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
Permitted for Exposed Run (ER) use in accordance with NEC for 3 or more conductors
