350 kcmil TC-ER – High-Temperature Performance for Demanding Cable Tray Applications

Cable tray systems in industrial plants often experience elevated temperatures and require wire that maintains performance under heat stress. 350 kcmil TC-ER tray cable features stranded pure copper conductors with PVC+Nylon dual-layer insulation, providing reliable power transmission in demanding cable tray installations. UL1277 and UL83 certified with a 600V rating, this cable is approved for exposed run installations in trays and raceways without conduit. The PVC+Nylon insulation offers excellent resistance to heat, moisture, and abrasion, while the rugged PVC jacket provides superior mechanical protection and sunlight resistance. This cable is the preferred choice for industrial plants, power generation facilities, and large commercial buildings requiring high-capacity power distribution in cable tray systems. The PVC jacket also resists chemicals and oils commonly found in industrial environments, extending cable service life.

Product Description

The PVC/Nylon/PVC (THHN/THWN-2), 600V Power, TC-ER Direct Burial Cable consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors, covered with Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) and oil and gas resistant Nylon insulation, unshielded and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in industrial power.

In conduit, duct, free air, raceways and direct burial, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
In wet or dry locations
Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
Permitted for Exposed Run (ER) use in accordance with NEC for 3 or more conductors
