• 3×Conductors: Flexible stranded tinned annealed copper conductor.

• Conductor Screen: Semiconductive compound (for cables having a voltage rating of 3.3/3.3kV and above).

• Insulation: EPR.

• Insulation Screen: Semiconductive elastomer.

• Composite Screen (earth conductor): Tinned annealed copper braiding interwoven with polyester yarn.

• Cradle Separator: Semiconductive PCP.

• 3×Interstitial Pilot: EPR covered flexible stranded tinned copper conductor.

• Sheath: Heavy duty PCP sheath. Heavy duty CPE/CSP sheath can be offered upon request.

Type 440 1.1kV to 22kV Dragline Mining Power Cable (AS/NZS 2802) is a heavy-duty, composite screened three-core cable with three interstitial pilot cores, designed for demanding mining and dragline applications. It features flexible stranded tinned annealed copper conductors, with a semiconductive conductor screen (for 3.3/3.3kV and above ratings) to ensure optimal electrical performance. The cores are insulated with EPR (Ethylene Propylene Rubber) for superior thermal and mechanical resilience, surrounded by a semiconductive elastomer insulation screen to minimize electrical stress. A composite screen of tinned copper braiding interwoven with polyester yarn provides effective grounding, while a semiconductive PCP cradle separator maintains structural integrity. Three EPR-insulated interstitial pilot cores allow for monitoring or control circuits. The cable is protected by a heavy-duty PCP sheath (with optional CPE/CSP upon request), ensuring exceptional resistance to abrasion, oils, chemicals, and harsh environmental conditions. Engineered for 1.1kV to 22kV power distribution, this cable meets the rigorous demands of mining operations, delivering durability, flexibility, and reliable performance in extreme settings.
