Application
Type 455 mining wire is particularly suitable for drum systems and towing systems that require flexible wiring, such as stackers and reclaimers, and has great advantages in equipment with limited space, frequent winding and high requirements for lightweight. Its thickened PCP sheath has excellent wear resistance, oil resistance and weather resistance, ensuring long-term stable operation in harsh mining environments. Overall, Type 455 is an ideal solution for flexibility and portability while maintaining basic electrical functions, and is suitable for the dual needs of high performance and high adaptability in modern smart mines.

Feature

Type 455 3.3 to 33kV mining wire is a lightweight, highly flexible medium and high voltage mining cable designed according to AS/NZS 2802 standard, specially developed for operating occasions with higher weight and space requirements. Compared with Type 450, Type 455 adopts a thinner insulation layer and sheath thickness design, and eliminates the internal cable support structure (such as cradle or center filler partition), with a smaller overall diameter and lighter weight, suitable for working conditions with smaller drum radius or frequent movement. Although the structure is simpler, it still retains the key three-core main conductors, two grounding cores, and one control conductor to meet complex power supply and monitoring requirements.
