  • 3×Conductors: Flexible stranded tinned annealed copper conductor.

    Conductor Screen: Semiconductive compound (for cables having a voltage rating of 3.3/3.3kV and above).

  • Insulation: EPR.

  • Insulation Screen: Semiconductive elastomer.

  • Composite Screen: Tinned annealed copper braiding interwoven with polyester yarn, covered with semiconductive tape.

  • Filler: Elastomer centre filler.

  • 2×Interstitial Earth Conductor: CSP covered flexible stranded tinned copper conductor.

  • 1×Interstitial Pilot: EPR covered flexible stranded tinned copper conductor.

  • Textile Reinforcement: Open-weave braid reinforcement.

  • Sheath: Extra-heavy duty PCP sheath. Extra-heavy duty CPE/CSP sheath can be offered upon request.

Type 450 3.3 to 33kV mining electrical cable is widely used for power connection of various heavy equipment in mining areas, such as electric shovels, drilling rigs, hauling systems and slow reel applications. Its core advantage is that it can meet the requirements of high-voltage safe power supply while having a relatively light weight and smaller outer diameter design, which is particularly suitable for working environments with limited space or higher requirements for flexibility.

Type 450 3.3 to 33kV mining electrical cable is a high-performance copper braided shielded mining cable designed and manufactured according to the Oceania standard AS/NZS 2802, specially developed for medium and high voltage power supply scenarios. This cable is suitable for voltage levels from 3.3kV to 33kV. The Type 450 cable uses a three-core flexible tinned annealed copper conductor, combined with EPR insulation and semi-conductive elastomer shielding to effectively control electric field stress and improve electrical stability. Its composite shielding system is composed of copper wire braiding and polyester yarn interlaced, and coated with semi-conductive tape to ensure excellent electromagnetic compatibility and mechanical protection capabilities. The cable has two CSP-coated grounding conductors and an EPR-insulated intermediate signal core built-in, which is suitable for control and monitoring needs; at the same time, it is equipped with an elastic center filler and a textile reinforcement layer to improve mechanical impact resistance and bending resistance. The externally coated thickened PCP sheath (optional CPE/CSP) has excellent wear resistance, oil resistance and environmental corrosion resistance, and is a reliable choice in the field of medium and high voltage mining power transmission.
