When a building project needs one conductor with an additional protective layer, GERITEL WIRE Single Core SDI Wire offers a practical alternative to unsheathed building wire. A stranded annealed copper conductor provides dependable electrical performance, while V-90 PVC insulation and the white PVC sheath separate electrical insulation from external protection. This construction suits fixed mains, distribution and final circuit work in homes, offices and light industrial facilities. Installers may route the product in conduit, cable ducts or other protected wiring systems according to the project design. Red and black core identification, multiple reel lengths and OEM sheath marking can be arranged. GERITEL WIRE also supports technical confirmation, packing design and export documents for repeat supply.

FAQ

What conductor flexibility class is used?

The product uses a Class 2 stranded copper conductor designed for fixed wiring. Strand count and individual wire diameter depend on the conductor size and follow the approved construction, so GERITEL WIRE does not change the internal copper arrangement without technical review.

Which standard core colours can I choose?

The standard GERITEL range is supplied as red or black insulated SDI cable beneath a white PVC sheath. The core colour is visible at prepared terminations and supports circuit identification, but the final selection must follow the identification rules used on your project.

Why is there a white outer layer over the coloured insulation?

The white sheathed SDI wire has an additional PVC layer over the red or black insulated core. This sheath adds normal external protection and provides a clear surface for product printing and traceability; it does not turn the cable into an armoured or submersible product.

What voltage is printed on this product?

GERITEL 450/750V SDI cable is intended for suitable low-voltage fixed electrical circuits. The Uo/U rating must be matched to the installation design and local wiring rules, and it should not be substituted for a larger 0.6/1kV SDI construction.
