Can H1Z2Z2-K be installed in open air?
Yes. Open air solar cable is a normal H1Z2Z2-K application when the cable is properly supported and protected from sharp edges and mechanical damage. UV resistance is especially important for exposed routes. GERITEL WIRE can help confirm the requested standard, size, color and marking before quotation so the cable matches the project specification.
Can the cable be installed in conduit?
Yes. Solar cable in conduit is permitted in many PV installations. Conduit fill, bend radius, heat dissipation, pulling force and local electrical rules should be considered during design. Can TÜV Solar Cable be buried?
