Should I size PV cable using Isc or operating current?
PV cable current sizing should follow the applicable design standard and project rules, which normally consider array short-circuit current plus required safety factors. The cable should also be checked for voltage drop at normal operating current. Does a long cable run always mean I should use 6mm²?
