This 35kV Aluminum TR-XLPE/CN/LLDPE MV-90 Primary UD Cable adopts heavy-duty 420 mils TR-XLPE insulation with 133% insulation level, specially engineered for ungrounded and impedance-grounded medium-voltage underground systems. It features a cost-effective compact aluminum conductor, copper concentric neutral shield, and durable LLDPE outer jacket. The thickened anti-water-tree insulation delivers superior overvoltage tolerance during prolonged ground faults, greatly enhancing operational safety margin. Rated 90°C continuous operation, this robust cable supports direct burial and duct bank installation, ideal for industrial parks, substations and municipal critical power distribution under harsh underground conditions.

Product Description

 

The Medium Voltage Underground Distribution (UD) cables consist of an Aluminum (filled or unfilled) conductor, covered with tree-retardant cross-linked polyethylene (TR-XLPE), a concentric neutral of helically applied copper wires, and a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) jacket with 3 extruded red stripes.
