Custom-built for heavy-duty 15kV ungrounded industrial power systems, this UL 1072 3-conductor shielded MV-105 cable features compacted copper phase conductors with an integrated bare ground wire and heavy 220 mil NL-EPR insulation rated for 105°C continuous dry and wet operation. Dual semi-conductive layers evenly distribute internal electric fields, while overlapping CTS copper tape eliminates EMI and dangerous induced voltage. Internal fillers form a round cable core, and a UV, acid and alkali resistant PVC outer jacket protects against underground abrasion and corrosion. Its 133% insulation level delivers robust surge resistance against grid transient faults, supporting cable tray, conduit, direct burial and aerial installation for industrial plants and substation main power feeders.

Product Description

 

The 3 Conductor MV-105 Power Cables consist of fully annealed bare copper Class B stranded conductors, covered with ethylene propylene  rubber (EPR), copper tape shield, and black PVC jacket. These cables are used in industrial power circuits.

  • In conduit, duct, free air, direct burial and raceways, primary installations include cable trays, and outdoor locations
  • In wet or dry locations
  • Approved for Class I, Div. 2 industrial hazardous locations per NEC
  • Designed to operate continuously at a conductor temperature not exceeding
